The person behind the care.
I didn’t plan to become a caregiver. Like a lot of things in life, it found me.

years helping seniors and adults with disabilities
Where It Started
Back in the early 2010s, I started doing caregiving and companionship work for a deaf autistic adult who happened to be a family friend’s son. That experience opened a door. I learned patience. I picked up American Sign Language. I discovered I had a natural ability to connect with people who needed a different kind of support.
Over the years, I continued helping people on the side. Adults with disabilities. Seniors who needed an extra hand. It was never my main career, but it was always something I came back to because I was genuinely good at it and found it meaningful.
When It Got Personal
About five years ago, everything changed. My parents needed me. My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and I became their full-time caregiver.
That experience taught me things you can’t learn any other way. I learned what it really means when someone’s memory starts to slip. I learned how to stay calm when things get hard. I learned how much families need not just help, but someone they can actually trust.
When I had to leave my previous work to care for my parents, I decided to turn this experience into something that could help others too.
Over the years, I continued helping people on the side. Adults with disabilities. Seniors who needed an extra hand. It was never my main career, but it was always something I came back to because I was genuinely good at it and found it meaningful.
What I Bring
01
Patience
Whether I’m explaining a smartphone for the third time or helping someone through a frustrating moment, I don’t rush. I meet people where they are.
02
Calm Under Pressure
Senior care comes with unexpected moments. I’ve been through enough of them with my own family to know how to handle them without panicking.
03
Tech Savvy
I can explain tech in plain language without making anyone feel dumb. I’m always looking for tools that can make life easier.
04
Genuine Connection
Seniors like me. I think it’s because I actually enjoy spending time with them and it shows.
Certificates
Here are a few of the certifications I’ve earned so far—California Registered Home Care Aide and CPR Certified. I’m always adding to the toolkit as I continue to develop my skills in this field.
