Services

Matt Cares provides two kinds of support: practical caregiving and daily assistance, plus patient tech help for seniors. Both are designed to help older adults stay independent, organized and connected at home.

This is non-medical support. I'm not a care agency. I'm one person providing steady, reliable help.

Caregiving & Daily Support

This is hands-on support that helps seniors manage daily life without feeling overwhelmed. Whether you need someone to run errands, keep you company or help organize the week ahead, I'm here to provide consistent, personal assistance.

Light Meal Prep

Simple, healthy meals prepared in your kitchen. Nothing fancy, just good food made easy.

Appointment Transportation and Accompaniment

Rides to doctor visits, errands or social activities. I'll drive you there, wait with you and bring you home.

Medication Reminders

Helping you stay on schedule with your medications. (I don't administer medication, just remind you when it's time.)

Light Household Organization

Tidying up, organizing paperwork, sorting mail, keeping things manageable.

Safety Check-ins

Regular visits to make sure everything's okay and you have what you need.

Routine-Building

Helping establish and maintain daily routines that keep you active, organized and on track.

Support During Early Memory Challenges

Patient help navigating forgetfulness, confusion or early cognitive decline. I understand what this looks like because I've been through it with my own parents.

Personal Assistance

Managing paperwork and mail, scheduling appointments, coordinating service providers, organizing documents, helping with travel plans, calendar management and simple budgeting help. I can act as a steady point of coordination when things feel scattered.

Senior Tech Support

Technology should make life easier, not harder. I provide patient, in-home tech support in plain English. No jargon, no rush, no judgment. Just clear help getting your devices to work the way you need them to.

What's Not Included

Matt Cares provides non-medical support. I'm not a nursing service or a medical provider. Here's what I don't do:

  • Bathing, dressing or toileting assistance
  • Wound care or medical treatment
  • Medication administration (I can remind, but I don't administer)
  • Skilled nursing or physical therapy
  • Heavy lifting or transfers requiring equipment
  • 24-hour care or overnight shifts
  • Financial advising or legal services

If you need medical care or personal care assistance, I'm happy to help you find the right provider. My role is to support independence, not replace medical professionals.
